Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki is a American political advisor who was the 34th White House news secretary between 2021 and 222. A member of Democratic Party, Psaki was previously the White House deputy secretary (2009), White House deputy director of communications (2009-2011) and spokesperson for United States Department of State 2013-2015 as well as the White House communications Director (2015-2017). Psaki was a CNN political contributor from 2017 to 2020. Psaki began her career in the 2001 re-election campaigns Iowa of Tom Harkin and Tom Vilsack Both Democrats running for U.S. Senate. Psaki later served as press secretary in John Kerry's presidential election campaign. Psaki was also the director of communications for Joseph Crowley (U.S.) and as regional press Secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. In 2012, Psaki returned to political communications as press secretary for President Obama's 2012 reelection campaign. 20 years ago, Psaki was appointed spokesperson for the United States Department of State in February 2013. There was speculation that Psaki would be replacing Jay Carney as White House Press Secretary.[21But, Josh Earnest was announced to replace Carney on May 30th, 2014. She was named Communications Director at the White House and continued to perform this role until the end of the year in 2015.
